The Fall of the Tyrant

$20.00

My family and I listened to The Fall of the Tyrant, the story of Musa on a 5-hour-long road trip. We listened to it from start to finish, completely wrapped up in every descriptive detail. After a couple of hours the battery on my little external speaker ran out, and yet we continued to strain to listen to it till the end. MashaAllah it really is a work of art!  And the song that Mehded wrote for the children from the Hayy to sing is awe-inspiring. Jazakillahu khairan Mehded! C. Umm Omar, Spain

My 5-year old daughter and I have been listening to Mehded Maryam Sinclair’s The Fall of the Tyrant. For days afterwards she has been astonished and perplexed at how people might believe in a sun-god Ra, and how Pharaoh could believe he was his son. I continue to be so thankful that our kids have these resources at such a young age when it can shape their worldview and reinforce what they learn from us. It was really missing for my generation. Sulma Badrudduja, USA

Part One of Musa: Prophet of Allah recounts the life of Musa aleyhisalam from his birth to the Exodus, relying on the Quran and its interpretations, and considering the vast and compelling web of evidence from Egyptian history and archeology that, because of clues given in Qur’an, point to the most probable physical realities of the events.  It is told with frequent references to Quranic verses which are recited in context by Osama al Shurafa and translated as they occur in the narrative; qasidas sung by children; and sound effects.  Researched, written, and narrated by Maryam Sinclair and corroborated by Sheikh Ali Hani of Amman, Jordan.
