“I truly felt like I was there. Everything about it was perfection, down to the characters’ accents and the duration. She really dove deep into the little parts of the story that you would normally pass without much attention. I especially loved how she connected so many of the story’s messages to our everyday habits, prayers and movements that we should practise.”

“Listening to Hajja Maryam makes the Quran come alive. Things that I couldn’t understand about the Quranic stories suddenly became clear when given life through her narrative. She also wove its relevance for our day into the story’s ancient moments. It was seamless and deeply moving.” Retreat participant
