Mehded Maryam Sinclair UK Tour 2014

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatuallah

I hope and pray you are all well, insha’allah.

Alhumdulilah, I am pleased to announce that Mehded Maryam Sinclair of Jordan will be visiting the UK in late October – early November 2014, insha’allah. She will be available for presentations to school, family, and community audiences from ages 4 to adult.

She is an award-winning writer and storyteller who has published many books and audios for children. See WHAT PEOPLE SAY below!

During her tour from 26th October – 14th November, insha’allah, she will presenting her latest work from Musa – Prophet of Allah Part Two: The Rebellions of the Descendants of Israel. A live telling of Part One: The Fall of the Tyrant, which she presented widely in schools, madrassas, and communities in the UK in April 2013, and which has been produced as an audio, will also be available, and for those desiring a unique and exciting daylong event, both parts can be told.

Insha’allah, this is a wonderful opportunity for our youth to meet an author who is a truly remarkable writer and story teller. She has meticulously researched all her work, which truly makes these wonderful stories come to life, capturing the imaginations of children and adults alike. It is also a wonderful opportunity to revive the valuable tradition of storytelling and enhance Islamic identity among your students and their parents.

Absolutely amazing alhamdulillah. We were captivated from beginning to end. HS, Slough

We were spellbound…it is so beautiful, and so moving, even my husband got a little teary eyed at the end when the boys were singing the song you wrote. Jazakillahu khairan, may Allah bless and increase you and prosper you in this life and the next. CE, Spain

I have known the story of Musa aleyhisalam since I was a child and yet I have benefitted greatly from this telling. I put it on thinking to listen to a single clip and find I just want to keep listening; she has truly brought the story to life. MM, London

“Sister Maryam Sinclair is a wonderful storyteller. All of our children from preschool through 12th were captivated by her telling of the story of Prophet Musa, peace upon him. She brings the story to life and adds many historical and scientific facts that further support the reality of the events. It was amazing to see how she could keep the attention of almost 200 students for more than one hour. Every student I spoke to
after said it was great and they learned a lot. I highly recommend Sister Maryam Sinclair to all Islamic educators.” Faatima Yanes, Miftah Uloom Academy, Union City, New Jersey

“MashAllah you captivated students as young as 4 years old to young adults (including their parents) with your presentation, which brought Musa AS’s story alive. It was so heart-warming when after nearly an hour or more of story-telling when you suggested we stop, the room resounded with a loud “NOOOO!!!” from nearly 120 students. This was clear evidence of how enthralled the children were!

I was on an emotional roller coaster myself as I listened on, heart pounding as the narrations would peak to a climax. I noticed the faces of some of the parents as their expressions changed with the mood of the story.” Malika Niazi, ISUW, Mt. Kisco, New York

I invited my extended family for dinner and I played the Bowing of the Stars CD. They just loved it. My uncles and their wives and all the cousins, my mother, aunt, my uncle’s mother-in-law, all came. I had to stop and explain and discuss and asked them what they learned, such as: “Jealousy makes people do strange things.” Sunhan’ALLAH, it was a wonderful evening everyone enjoyed. We are not done yet! We are on track number 2 because it was a very interactive majlis. I can feel the family connection and love growing through this. SR. Florida

Many thanks. Please find a CV here

Looking forward to hearing from you soon inshaAllah,

Ms. Rohi Padela
