A Mercy to the Worlds

$15.00

Through light-hearted and gentle storytelling that inspires love and longing for Allah and His Messenger, Ms. Sinclair introduces children to Muhammad, may Allah bless him and give him peace.  She verifies for them, in a way appropriate to their needs, that Islam is the culmination of the Message of Allah, which opened with Adam, peace upon him and was sealed with Muhammad, may Allah bless him and give him peace, renewed through time and purified from human alteration by the prophets in-between, peace upon them one and all. This will surely inspire love, and I will do all I can to help her. May the grace of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and of his noble daughter Fatima, whose name Ms. Sinclair carries, reach her and assist her in her work.
Sheikh Nuh Al-Qudat, former Grand Mufti of Jordan

My kids love A Mercy to the Worlds. My 4½ year-old told me, ‘The Prophet hears our salams. Mehded Maryam Sinclair told me so.’  B. Nouri,  UK

My daughter can now act out entire scenes from the Mercy to the Worlds Audio book. She loves it so much, that’s the only audio we are allowed to play in our car! I feel even that her English has improved; she now uses words like ‘surely’ and ‘alas.’  “When you hear, you’ll see!

Her stories never fail to give even me goosebumps. The story unfolds and carries you to another time and place. I could rave a long time, mashallah.

A Mercy to the Worlds recounts events in the beginning of the life of our Prophet, may Allah bless him and give him peace. Starting from the rediscovery of ZamZam by Abu Muttalib, we visit a flash-back to the first discovery of Zam Zam during the lifetime of Prophet Ibrahim peace upon him. Reliable traditions of the birth lead onto the expectations present at that time about the coming of a new prophet.  The action continues to the trade journey with Abu Talib during which Bahira the Monk recognized the arrival of the Long-Awaited Messenger of Allah in the person of the young Muhammad, may Allah bless him and give him peace. The work includes qasidas and parts of Qasida Burdah sung by girls from Dar al Zahra in Tarim, Yemen and boys from Hayy al Kharabsheh, Jordan, as well as sound effects and Quranic verses recited by Osama al Shurafa. Researched, written, and narrated by Mehded Maryam Sinclair.
